When human beings experience trauma, chronic life stressors, loss and hardship, or lack of support it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. In our work together you can expect compassion, kindness, skill, and experience in helping to put together the pieces of your life while strengthening your sense of self, gaining insight into repeating patterns, and improving your relationships with others. In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I offer a collaborative treatment approach, which is tailored to meet your specific needs. Modalities of treatment include Client-Centered, Psychodynamic (Self-Psychology), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, EFT Emotionally Focused Therapy, Trauma informed interventions, Somatic/Mindfulness-based Techniques, and Solution-Focused treatment.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been in practice for nearly 20 years. I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health care, and schools I also enjoy teaching and supervising beginning clinicians, working previously as an Adjunct Professor and currently as a clinical supervisor. Areas of expertise include adjustment disorders, relational trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, self-esteem issues, attachment, couples distress, difficulties with life transitions, parenting challenges, and women’s issues.
